Just for background info: Im a 20 year old male who is quite fit.

Lately ive had a slight twinge in my shoulder, it doesn't hurt or bother me alot - but i can definetly feel something there - maybe a slight injury/tear.

When I workout is when I can really feel it, and for this reason I havent been pushing too hard.

Should I stop altogether until its 100% better? Or will working out lightly help it to repair quicker?
I also work as a labourer and it can be tested a bit whilst Im at work too, so its a tricky situation!

Great. get to help someone! Shoulders are a special interest as both mine are completely fukd. Yep light exercise with weights is the best any movement that doesn't cause pain. If its a tear then try ice, heat, ice. Really does work. If its not better in say 3 months you gotta get an x-ray man. I got some improvement with fish oil/glucosamine but am way older n 20. I do surf nearly every day though so it must work pretty good. Hope that helps. Oh yeah spent a lot of money at different chiro/other manipulators only result was poverty. Ha.

Sounds good. Yeah surfing doesn't seem to bother it really so thats why I havent been too concerned lol.

See a doctor who specializes in Sports Medicine. Mine charged me $65 for xrays and an evaluation (i have no insurance).

I had been moving a couch when a ligament tore completely (caused a seperated shoulder) and my rotator cuff tore partially.
